Attends Akademiforsamlingen (The Fellows of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen), where the decision is made to give a travel grant to the painter Heinrich Eddelien in preference to Adam Müller. Furthermore, the architect Gottlieb Bindesbøll is unanimously elected member of the academy. Afterwards Thorvaldsen joins the other professors in a banquet with Prince Christian (8.) Frederik.
