Dear Sir,
I was so much hurried before I left Rome that I had not time to write you as I intended, that I had left an order with Mr. Irwin for the payment of the remaining part the sum I shall be indebted to you for the Hebe but probably Mr. Irwin has already mentioned it to you.
I have therefore only to request that you will be so good to finish this Statue as qwickly as you are able & I have no doubt that you will render it worthy of your deserved fame.
