Questi che io ti presento eletti fiori

Gradisci in di si bello, o chiaro Alberto ;
Te l’offro di mia età sui primi alb’ori,
Onde ne formi alla tua chioma un serto;
È mite il dono è ver, che sommi onori
Si deggion tributar al sommo merto.
Ma darti altro non posso, e dò ogni cosa
S’offro in questa mia etade anche una rosa.
