It remains somewhat unclear whether the two amounts due to Conrad Hinrich Donner—141,000 marks banco in 1826, and 100,000 marks banco in 1831—overlapped to some extent, or whether Christian (8.) Frederik indeed owed Donner a total of 241,000 marks banco.
