Mrs. Patten Bold presents her Compliments to Mr. Thorwaldson, and will be very much obliged to him to inform her whether he has recieved a letter from Prince Sapieha since he quitted Rome with any father directions about the Monument which Mr. Thorwaldson has undertaken to execute –
A Letter which Prince Sapieha wrote to Mrs Bold on the subject from England has not arrived, and she is afraid it is lost, and that Mr Thorwaldson may be waiting for some communication from her before he commences the Model of the Monument, and she would be extremely sorry to be the cause of any delay, for she believes Prince Sapieha mentioned to Mr Thorwaldson that he particularly wished Mrs Patten Bold to see the Model on her return to Rome, which will be on the 4th. or 5th. of April to remain two days only.
Mrs. Patten Bold hopes Mr Thorwaldson will excuse the trouble she is giving him and do her the favour to send an early answer directed to Naples – poste restante.
