The Thorvaldsens Museum Archives
is a Documentation and Research Centre on the life, work and context of Bertel Thorvaldsen.
The Archives is presently holding 10320 documents from, to and about the sculptor.
They are the primary written sources to our knowledge on the activities of Thorvaldsen.
