I.e. Thorvaldsen’s relief The Dance of the Muses on Helicon, A705, which today is on permanent loan in the Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin.
The relief was never completed, probably because of the spots in the marble that Thorvaldsen mentions here. The passage documents that the relief was almost completed at this time.
