• Passport dated 11.9.1805 from J.C. Ulrich to Thorvaldsen (the passport is signed by the authorities 19.9.1805 in Acquapendente, ca 130 km north of Rome).
• Letter dated 30.9.1805 from Herman Schubart to C.F.F. Stanley (thanking for letter dated 25.9.1805, relating that Thorvaldsen has arrived in Rome).
• Draft letter dated late September 1805 from Thorvaldsen to Schubart (writes that he arrived Saturday afternoon, which due to the other two sources must be Saturday 21.9.1805).
