Kommentar til Arven fra Thorvaldsen i det 19. århundredes Warszawa
The mentioned bust of “Emperor Octavianus Augustus” is not known as a work by Thorvaldsen at Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen. It might be that the work was based on one of two antique plaster casts depicting Augustus owned by Thorvaldsen (inventory number L155 and L156, Thorvaldsens Museum, Copenhagen).
