S.T. Fick, Counsellor,
I am much obliged to you for your courtesy to wish me among you on the 19^th, however, I want to finish a work, the frieze for the Church of Our Lady; the Entry into Jerusalem, which is progressing well, and as this season is not convenient for such a long journey of a couple of days I regard it as my duty to stay in my calm activity at the present and be content with thanking my friends with love for their kindly thought; with regards to your wife I am yours sincerely,
