Letter from Frances Mackenzie to Thorvaldsen dated 20.12.1820. In his transcripts Thiele has noted the following concerning the letter: “this letter is written with apparent coldness”, Thiele’s transcripts of Thorvaldsen’s letters, Thorvaldsens Archive vol. II, p. 193, no. 54. He does not mention the letter in his biography.
