See the note by Else Kai Sass of 13.9.1945 in older notes referring to the letters, ref. no. 14 7/1945. A singer by the name of M. Catalani is referred to under point 84 in a letter of 8.1.1829 from Frederik Ferdinand Friis to Thiele, and it must be assumed that the reference is to the same person.
