Comment on Thorvaldsen's Spoken and Written Language
I.e., of poor quality, deficient in content; cf. Ordbog over det danske Sprog, pkt. 3.4. Here too it seems obvious that Thorvaldsen was unsatisfied with the results of his own attempts at letter-writing.
