Cupid Complains to Venus about a Bee Sting, cf. A780 or A418.

The subject is taken from an anacreotic verse which describes how, one day, Cupid is stung by a bee as he is going to pick a rose, but when he runs to his mother Venus and cries, she just asks him: “ If the bee’s sting hurts you so much, how much do you think those who are hit by your arrows suffer?”
