Comment on Baptismal Font to Brahetrolleborg Church
According to sculptor Rasmus Andersen (1861-1930), former conservator at Thorvaldsens Museum; cf. the Arkkatalog of the Thorvaldsens Museum Archives, inv. no. A555. One may assume that this change was due to the later marble versions of the baptismal font, in which the depression for the baptismal bowl was replaced with a floral wreath.
