Comment on Norse Mythology in Thorvaldsen's Art - a Virtually Omitted Motive
Wiedewelt’s drawings are found today in the Danish National Art Library. They are among the first examples of work by a Danish artist who had studied archaeological finds from ancient Scandinavia in order to gain more solid information on which to base his drawings of figures.
