Your Royal Highness,
With inexpressible pleasure have I received your favour of December 30th in which Your Royal Highness announces that His Majesty has been graciously pleased to send a frigate to Leghorn this summer.
Obeying Your Royal Highness’ order I reply immediately that I intend to make good use of this great opportunity to send home my things, and the permission to make use of the same opportunity myself will be very attractive to me, to have the more rapid home journey.
Recommending myself to the favour of Your Royal Highness I beg you to convey my humble respects to your high spouse and I remain
Your Royal Highness
