When any of the abovementioned two or or [sic] any other of Mrs Paulsen’s children, who might benefit from aforesaid interests, leaves children or other descendants, then these persons in infinite degrees should inherit the available interests so that the heirs, who are in equal degree, inherit in capita, each an equal part regardless of difference of sex, but so that in case of different degree, the more distant ones replace the earlier deceased ancestors, so that children of the same father or mother receive the lot, which he or she would have received if this person had been alive; but if anyone should die without heirs of the body then this lot shall be divided in equal parts among the others of the same line. – If one of these lines should die out completely, the available part will go to that line or to the other lines favoured in the same way, in which the interests are inherited in the abovementioned way. But when none of these lines exists, the interests will go to the rest of Mrs Paulsen’s descendants according to the same rules. –

Besides I wish that the interest, which I have bestowed on my adopted daughter’s

Children after their death should go to their descendants in infinite degrees and that the interests which have become available by a case of death, just as has been stipulated above, should be inherited by those in equal degree related in capita and be divided in equal lots regardless of difference of sex, whereas when anyone has died and has left children or more distant descendants these will replace their parents and in the abovementioned way inherit the lot which their deceased father or mother should have had; but in case anyone dies without leaving heirs of the body, then his lot shall exclusively go to those who are of the same line.
