Til Kongen Ved et Kongeligt Rescript af 4 Juni 1839 til Slotsbygningskommissionen, hvilket under 5 s. M. meddeeltes den oprindelige Commitee til Oprettelsen af Thorvaldsens Museum, af hvilken Comitee medundertegnede Collin var første Medlem, blev allernaadigst skienket til Indretning af dette Museum den Bygning som stod paa det Sted, hvor Staden Kiøbenhavn, som jeg Thorvaldsen ved et under 8 Dec 1838 med allern. confirmeret Gavebrev af 5 næstforhen, have skienket alle allerunderdanigst Tho. C. |

To the King, By a royal ordinance of June 4th 1839 to the Building Commission for Christiansborg Palace which on the 5th the same month was conveyed to the original committee for the Foundation of Thorvaldsen’s Museum the building which was on the site was most graciously donated for the establishment of this museum and on this site The City of Copenhagen which I Thorvaldsen by December 8th 1838 with a most graciously granted probate deed of gift of the 5th last month have donated all most humble Tho.
